Crossroads to Host ACSI Spelling Bee
Friday, January 23, we will be hosting the annual Association of Christian Schools International District Spelling Bee for grades 5-8 here on our campus. Approximately 50 contestants will be coming from Christian schools in Reedley, Merced, Modesto, and Kerman. Crossroads students who will be competing are Jade Jardenil, Juan Ruelas, Ashley Scriven, Joshua Jardenil, Morgan Bautista, Tanya Shinen, Pawan Brar, and Christopher Nomicos. The top four finishers in the bee will advance to a regional competition. Parents are welcome to come and watch. We are in need of adult volunteers-parents, grandparents, friends of CCS- to help on judging panels. Please call the school office ahead of time if you are available to help that morning between 8:30-12:00.
Preschool Visitation Day
Calling all parents of 4 year olds!!! Crossroads Christian School has scheduled a special day for preschoolers and their parents to come attend our kindergarten chapel led by Mrs. Spelman and Mrs. Prins. A brunch and tour of our campus will follow. The event will take place on Wednesday, February 4th. Chapel begins at 8:30 and is held in the Upper Room. If you have friends or neighbors whose children are ready for kindergarten be sure to invite them. All they need to do is give us an RSVP at 662-1624.
