Pajama Day Fun

Our 100th Day of School was celebrated in pajamas!  After 99 days of hard work students were treated to the Principal’s Perfect Pajama Day Pancakes flipped and served hot off the griddle by the student council.  Levi and Brooke helped Mrs. Dougherty mix from scratch 28 batches of pancake mix.  In the morning Mrs. Brar and Mrs. Ross added the eggs, oil, and water.  Mr. Mendoza and Mrs. Malady helped with the serving as we consumed around 300 pancakes.  Primary grades had lots of fun 100th Day activities in class.  Fourth graders read a 100th Day Book they had published when they were first graders.  Seventh and eighth graders enjoyed cereal and a cartoon.  The coveted Spirit Sword was taken this month by the third grade…however, all the available space on the sword has been taken!  Plans are underway for the making of a “Spirit Shield” to continue the tradition of class competition.  Fifth grader, Caleb Wiens, commented, “I was in first grade when my class won the very first class competion and got to put our name on the sword.”   Congratulations everyone on working hard the first 100 days of school.
