On behalf of the Crossroads Christian School board and staff I would like to welcome you to our website. Crossroads Christian School is in its fifteenth year of providing Christian education and training at the K-8 level. Using Bible-based curricula, teachers create an atmosphere where children can develop both academically and spiritually. The mind of Christ is nurtured in the lives of students through redemptive relations with faculty who recognize that reconciling the heart and mind to God is the foundation of their work. Our objective is to help equip each student to live a life that glorifies God. It is exciting to see many of our graduates now going on long-term and short-term missions trips around the world, attending Bible college, playing college sports, serving in the armed forces, and actively participating in the life of their respective churches.
CCS commenced operation on August 31st, 1998. It was originally organized and remains an independent, interdenominational Christian private school. Our families, the highly qualified and dedicated administration, teaching and office staff, and the Board of Directors, represent a wide variety of churches throughout the Madera area. Crossroads Christian School is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ASCI). Grace Community Church in Madera is home to the CCS Crusaders.
The 2009-2010 school year saw a beautiful addition to our campus with the completion of our 3 new classrooms, a library, and a computer lab. Our theme this 2012-2013 school year is “His Workmanship”. As we teach eternal truths about God, His Word, and His world to our students, our prayer is that they will come to realize that they are “His workmanship created for good works in Christ Jesus” (Eph. 2:10).
Yours in Christ,
Patty Dougherty, Principal
