Elementary

1st-6th

And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

-Matthew 18:5

The wide-eyed youngsters entering CCS's elementary school will experience a variety of activities designed to provide a balanced education. With their lives before them and their options vast, these little ones will touch, feel, smell, hear and see their world through books, films, crafts, arts, music, sports, nature, and actual experiences both on and off campus.

Through activities, instruction, and hands-on experiences, students will add to their knowledge and understanding of God and his creation. They will be encouraged to ask questions, to think for themselves, to draw conclusions, and to become independent thinkers and lifelong learners.

Built on Christian principles, a broad-based curriculum allows students to integrate Biblical precepts into their school day. Skills, concepts, and content development are presented in a logical and sequential order, which includes a verbal, written, and literary foundation.

Children experience a warm, loving environment and are guided by competent instructors who are committed to God and the CCS-style of education. While providing a strong academic foundation implemented through a developmental approach, these teachers are prepared to address the different learning styles of each student. Viewed as having worth and value as God's creation, the children learn to use their talents and abilities to bring honor and glory to him.
