Reading Intervention Specialist

After teaching for 28 years I retired last year. However, I could not stay away and am currently the Reading Intervention Specialist here at Crossroads. I have taught at CCS since 2002 and have also served 6 years as CCS Principal. I attended the College of Sequoias and have a Bachelor of Arts from Fresno Pacific University. I have been married to my husband, Dave, for 37 years and have three grown children, two son-in-loves, and five adorable grandchildren. I love hanging out with my family, going on adventures with empty-nester friends, and anything to do with worship music OR Christmas. At your request (or not) my family may show up on your doorstep Christmas caroling. I feel so blessed to serve CCS and I love to disciple kids and see them grow in the gifts and talents that God has given them. My favorite verse is Isaiah 40:11, I consider this my life verse because God has always had me in a place to encourage children and their parents.

“ He shall lead his flock like a shepherd. He shall gather the lambs in his arms and carry them close to his heart, and shall gently lead those that are with young.Isaiah 40:11
