Ms. Mady Newark
Hi! My name is Miss Newark and I am one of the TK/Kindergarten teachers! My interest in becoming an educator began with my volunteer work in the early childhood room at my church. This is where I began to learn about how eager children were to learn and how ready they were to bond and have positive experiences with teachers once they found they could trust them. I continued this volunteer work for several years until I became a nanny. I achieved my associate's degree in Early Childhood Education at Merced College and my Bachelors in Liberal Studies from Fresno State. I believe there is a lot to learn from children as well. They are easily forgiving, and eager to learn and help, among many other things. Being around them for just part of the day makes me feel more grateful and calm. They help us remember patience and to appreciate the little things every day. I have 2 furbabies, a bulldog named Rose and a cat named Chester! I enjoy reading, painting, kayaking, and spending time with my family. I am 1 of 5 kids and have an adorable niece and nephew. I am so happy and blessed to be at Crossroads Christian School and excited to see all that God has in store! Matthew 6:34 is my favorite verse in the Bible. I love this verse because it reminds me to give the things that I’m worried or anxious about to God and to focus on the work that He can do through me each day.
"So don't worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
