Ms. Leah Cheshier

Hi! My name is Leah Cheshier, a.k.a. "Ms. C". After 2 years of teaching 7th grade here at Crossroads, I have the privilege of being the new 5th-grade teacher for the upcoming school year.  I moved to the Madera area to be closer to family after being in Southern California for over 20 years. I have 4 amazing children, ages ranging from 11- 20 yrs old. I enjoy cooking, gardening, worshiping the Lord, being out in nature, and attending my kids school/sporting events.  I am so thankful to be at CCS, where I can share my faith in God freely with my students and colleagues, and teach all subjects from a Christian perspective. 

A couple of my favorite verses are James 1:5-6 which say:

" If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind."
